3. What is river grading?

River Grades: (White water rivers and the rapids on them) have an internationally recognized grading Scale.

Grade I: Flat Water no rapids barely a splash rapids
Grade II: Bubbling current small roller coaster
Grade III: Needs trained guide technical & exciting
Grade IV&V: Serously big rapids unforgiving exhilarating Require some rafting experience and confidence in water since there are possibilities of over turning
Grade VI: Unrunnable- “don't got for it”

4. What are the things in your price?

6. How should the personal Packing be prepared?

7. What are the things do I have to bring?

(a) A sleeping bag and pad (if you don't have we help you rent in Kathmandu),
(b) light weight pants
(c) cotton underwear,
(d) light weight long sleeved shirt or T- shirt,

Yes, (a) river sandals (of the type which do not come off when you swim),

(c) a sarong for women (long piece of clothes wrapped around your waist),
(d) baseball cap and sunglasses,
(e) sunscreen, lip balm

9. If I am not mistaken there are some river expeditions we need to trek before and after the river trip. Is there any thing I should bring along with?

Yes, (a) A day pack,
(b) long thermal top and bottoms,
(c) light weight hiking boots,
(d) toilet paper and lighter

10. Is there anything optional I may bring?

•  Small Binoculars
•  Camera and film and some spare batteries
•  Walkman and tapes
•  Reading and writing materials
•  Personal first aid kit.

11. How is a day planned w hen you are in a rafting trip?

•  About 8 am breakfast
•  Start rafting at 9 am
•  Leisurely lunch at midday
•  Get into the camp around 4 pm and it gives plenty of time to rest and relax.
•  Spend about 5 to 6 hours each day.
•  Evening campfire in the riverbank and dinner around 8 pm.
•  Go to bed at 10 in the bank of dark and Wild River.

12. Do I have to care / respect Nepal's environment and local culture?

Yes, you have to abide by them as per the instructions given by your guides before you start your river journey,

13. Are there any risk factors when I am in the trip?

Although we have 100 % safety records we can't deny some risk when you are in the adventure. Company won't be liable for any loss and damage caused from the situation beyond their control. The price you have paid doesn't include insurance.

14. How much physically fit do I need to be? Is the knowledge of swimming must?

A reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Swimming is obviously added advantage for fun but it is not must. Safety jackets and helmets make you float in case you fall into the river.

Rafting in the Trisuli River
SSTT Rafting: 1(Short trip that's long on thrills)

The river originates in Himalayas through the southern plains of Nepal , Trisuli is splendid river for white water rafting with excellent rapids including technical ones and picturesque scenery with fantastic rock formations, typical villages, native and migrants birds can be observed from the river grades III-IV.

•  A day rafting on the way to Pokhara or Chitwan
•  2 days rafting in the Trishuli River
•  2-4 days rafting (To-from: Kathmandu-Kathmandu)
•  Total River distance 106 kms

Rafting in Kali Gandaki River
SSTT Rafting: 2 ( Annapurna white water) river grade- IV-IV+

It winds through remote canyons and deep gorges for five days of intense rapids among gorgeous wilderness and mountain views. For those with more time, it can be brilliantly combined with trekking in the Annapurnas.

Rrafting in Bhote Koshi River ( The River from Tibet)

The Bhote Koshi is certainly the exhilarating 2 day raft trip in Nepal. The Arniko highway links Kathmandu with Tibet and uses the valley floor of the Bhote Koshi before reaching the frontier.

Rafting in Seti River

This wilderness experience ideal for those seeking an introduction to rafting. The Seti is one of Nepal's most beautiful and warmest river with spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and rapids increasing in excitement as your confidence grows.

•  Total river distance: 62 kms
•  To put-in: 5 or 3 hrs.
•  From take-out: 4.5 hrs.
