The ultimate challenge is the trek across Cho La Pass
(5,420m), which takes 18-21 days and covers both the
Gokyo Lake area and the Everest Base Camp. There are
some short and interesting "climbs" of Gokyo
Ri, Chukkung Ri and Kalapatthar for the classic views
of icefalls and glaciers of Mahalangur Himalayan range
which comprises of five major 8000+ m. peaks - Everest,
Cho O Yu, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar and Makalu.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Up on arrival in Kathmandu,
a representative will meet you at the airport and
transfer you to your Hotel.
Day 02: Early morning transfer to airport
for flight to Lukla. Meet with your sirdar and the
rest of the crew. Trek to Phakding.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3444m).
Day 04: Namche Bazaar rest and acclimatization.
Day 05: Trek to Khumjung (3779m).
Day 06: Trek to Machharmu (3846m).
Day 07: Trek to Luza (4300m).
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4750m).
Day 09: Rest and acclimatization.
Day 10: Trek to Chola La (5090m).
Day 11: Trek to Dzongla (5866m)
Day 12: Trek to Lobuje (4930m).
Day 13: Trek to Lobuje.
Day 14: Trek to Tengboche (3875m).
Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 16: Trek to Phakding (2652m).
Day 17: Trek to Lukla along the gorge of
the Dudh Kosi to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla
to catch your return flight to Kathmandu. Weather
permitting your trekking crew might prepare a farewell
treat for you. You would be expected to join in the
singing and the dancing!
Day 18: Flight back to Kathmandu
at the airport transfer to the Hotel. A free afternoon
in Kathmandu
Day 19: These are "cushion" days
in case bad weather or other circumstances delay your
return to Kathmandu. Otherwise, they can be used for
sightseeing around Kathmandu valley or free for shopping

Day 20: Depart Katmandu
